  • Kroniek van het geslacht Hardick

    25 Sep 2005
    Koninklijke onderscheiding

    05 May 2005
Koninklijke onderscheidingOp 29 april is M.T.J. Hardiek-Workel Koninklijk onderscheiden. Hardiek).
    Updated Family Trees

    14 Nov 2004
All family trees have been updated. There have been extensive updates and additions in the Versmold and Halle trees and some minor ones in the other trees.

Apart from the results of the trip to Germany and visits to Arnhem and Utrecht I added for several spouses of Hardicks/Hardieks their parents. I also corrected a number of mistakes. If you got your data from this site please check them. The missing persons page is also updated with (I’m sorry to say) more missing persons. Have a look and mail me if you have more data on one of them. In the week before Christmas I will post a newsletter (in German,English and Dutch).

    Update and news (dec 2004)

    25 Dec 2004
First of all I would like to mention that a mistake has been found in the familytree of Gerrit Hendrik Hardiek and Louisa Jacobje Rozeboom and has been corrected.
Secondly an overview of what has been found this year can be found here in Deutsch, Nederlands and English in PDF format. It is to be printed in double sided folded format. In addition an overview of the family connections between Hardie(c)k and Kammeijer in Eibergen as mentioned in the newsletter can be found here and here.

The missing persons page there are a number of persons not in the newsletter, so please have a look.

Again we ask misspariah from the UK to give her correct email address. Please mail to the Administrator.

We recently found a lead on Haardiek from Neuenkirchen. Four chlidren of Johan Henrich Pielage en Anna Maria Gertrut Haardiek went to the Netherlands: Derk Pilage, Anna Maria Pielage, Johann Friedich Pielage and Johann Hermann Pilage (notice the difference in surnames). We can not yet place Anna Maria Gertrut Haardiek in the family tree.

    Research trip June 2004

    24 Jun 2004
From 14 to 19 June I was in Germany to find more relatives. Read more about it here.
    Updated trees and other news.

    11 May 2004
    Some updates and news:
    • At last we were able to find the whereabouts of two children of Johann Dietrich Johann Hardieck, the Dutch ancestor, who were still missing in the family tree or had wrong information (Jurgen Wilhelm and Catharina Elisabeth). The family tree is updated. We are still looking for the whereabouts of Jurgen Wilhelm after the death of his wife Hermina Peddemos.
    • In the Archive of Utrecht (the Netherlands) we found the surname Hardieok. After visiting the Archive it was found that it was the wrong surname: it should be Hardieck (Anna Maria Louise from Halle). It gave us a new lead and we hope to find more details in June. The Halle data is not yet updated.
    • There was a bug in the birthday routine which is almost fixed. This bug was found when I found out that I was not listed on my own birthday...
    • The articles and weblinks pages have now the date of the last update in the header. For the individual weblinks the date added is also included.
    • In June I hope to take a trip to Germany, visiting Osnabrück, Bielefeld, Halle and Versmold. The purpose is to find some holes (see missing persons) and to find more background stories.

    Fixed some more problems

    05 Jan 2004
The problem regarding the German characters is solved. The search form for the online genealogy is now part if the site.
    Mail problems fixed (I hope)

    16 Dec 2003
Fixed mail problems. For those of you who used the Contact page to mail me before 16 Dec please try again. The message you send did not arrive..
The same with the Online Genealogy pages: the mail address was wrong so all the messages went nowhere.
